Privacy Policy & Legal Disclosure

Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
TRT Intelligence collects personal information only when you voluntarily provide it — specifically, when you submit our contact or briefing request form. This may include your name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message. We do not require account creation, and we do not collect personal information from visitors who simply browse the site.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through our forms is used solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule a briefing, or follow up on a request for our services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not use form submissions for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
3. Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party services to operate this website. Each processes limited data strictly to perform its function:
- Web3Forms — transmits contact form submissions to our team via email. Web3Forms does not store submission content beyond the delivery process.
- Sanity.io — hosts our published Insights and Reports content. No personal visitor data is stored in Sanity; it contains only editorial content we publish.
- Vercel — hosts this website and may log standard, aggregated technical data (e.g. request counts, response times) for performance and reliability purposes.
4. Cookies & Tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. Any analytics we use are limited to privacy-respecting, aggregated traffic measurement that does not identify individual visitors.
5. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, after which they are deleted from our active systems unless you become a client, in which case standard business record-keeping applies.
6. Your Rights
Under the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and applicable international data protection law where relevant, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us. To exercise these rights, contact us at corporate@trtintelligence.com.
7. International Data Transfers
Because our service providers (Web3Forms, Sanity, Vercel) operate infrastructure across multiple jurisdictions, your information may be processed outside Ghana. We take reasonable steps to ensure any such processing meets applicable data protection standards.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Legal Disclosure
1. Nature of Our Intelligence Products
TRT Intelligence's indices, ratings, scorecards and reports (including but not limited to the TRT Threat Exposure Index™, TRT Enterprise Risk Index™, and all other named indices) are statistical models built from defined, observable data inputs and structured analytical methodology. They represent our independent assessment at a given point in time and are not guarantees, predictions of certainty, or statements of fact about future events.
2. Not Financial, Legal, or Investment Advice
Nothing published by TRT Intelligence — including scorecards, indices, reports, or advisory communications — constitutes financial, legal, investment, or professional advice of any kind. Recipients should not rely on our products as a sole basis for any financial, legal, operational, or strategic decision, and should seek independent professional counsel appropriate to their circumstances.
3. No Warranty of Accuracy or Completeness
While TRT Intelligence applies rigorous methodology to every assessment, our products are built from open-source and third-party data. We do not warrant that any index, score, or report is complete, error-free, or free from the limitations inherent in the underlying data sources. Confidence levels disclosed within our reports reflect the strength of available evidence at time of publication.
4. Independence & Proprietary Methodology
TRT Intelligence operates as an independent institution. Our specific weighting models and scoring algorithms are proprietary and are not disclosed publicly; general methodology principles are described on our Methodology page for transparency of approach, not as a complete technical specification.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TRT Intelligence disclaims liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from reliance on any information, index, score, or report published or delivered by us.
6. Intellectual Property
All index names, methodology frameworks, and published report content are the intellectual property of TRT Intelligence unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced or redistributed without prior written consent.
7. Governing Law
These disclosures and your use of this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
